'Death in the City' published

Written by two of INQUEST's earliest members, Melissa Benn and Ken Worpole, Death in the City was published by Canary Press. The work of the charity and its proximity to directly impacted people formed the basis of this research.

The book provides an account of deaths in police custody in London through the personal experiences of families and friends, and evidence given at inquests.

It explains the struggles that individuals and communties face when trying to understand how their family member or friend died.
