Gilly Singh Mundy dies
Gilly Singh Mundy (1970-2007) was a dedicated campaigner against racism and injustice, serving as a senior caseworker at INQUEST for nine years.
He was a student activist at Edge Hill College in Ormskirk, Lancashire, (home to the first INQUEST NORTHWEST meeting) before he volunteered for the Newham Monitoring Project (NMP). Working with the Stephen Lawrence Family Campaign, he was known for his compassion, humor and ability to connect with people.
Gilly and his wife, Debbie, founded founded the Buwan Koti International Trust in India to raise money for the community and the establishment of a local school.
Gilly is remembered for his deep humanity, love for life and commitment to social justice.
